BIOAZUL develops sustainable and eco-innovative solutions for the treatment of urban wastewater from households, buildings, or even entire cities, providing a constant supply of reclaimed water and nutrients to be reused and applied in NBS. We are interested in research and collaboration with other organisations in particular in the following areas: water management, wastewater treatment and reuse, food security, urban & peri-urban agriculture, circular economy, closing water and nutrient cycles, sustainable land use management.
As the first industry leader of the NBS for Water Management community, we want to raise awareness of good practice and emerging technologies in this industry sector and make it easier for public and private sector clients to find the best suppliers of water management solutions in their city or country. We invite all leaders in this field to join our community and highlight the range of solutions available in the use of nature-based approaches to water management.
